This Ile skirt is a mini version with a single cross-over pattern. The blue (búlù) denotes serenity, peace, and the black (dúdú) represents depth, mystery, and sometimes seriousness). Hand-dyed using the traditional Adire Eleko technique, the design tells a story - Beleke oní gángan pẹ̀ lú dígi ('Talking drum with mirror'). Mirror: someone who is a reflection in your life. You surround yourself with those who are similar to you, they are a reflection of your personal values, morals, or personality.
