This Ilé skirt is our second mini version with a single cross-over pattern. The blue (búlù) denotes serenity, peace, the black (dúdú) represents depth, mystery, and sometimes seriousness) and the pink (pupa fẹ́ẹ́rẹ́ or itunu) symbolises tenderness and femininity. The pattern Ewé ẹ̀gẹ́ (Cassava leaf) is associated with the Proverb: "Tasty soup costs money".
